Jordan Clarkson

Selected as the 46th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, Jordan Clarkson transitioned from a collegiate career at Tulsa and Missouri to become a prominent professional scorer. Throughout his tenure in the National Basketball Association, he has established himself as a versatile contributor, earning recognition as the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2021 while competing for multiple franchises.

Early Development and Collegiate Tenure

Born in 1992 in Tampa, Florida, to Mike Clarkson and Annette Tullao Davis, he relocated to San Antonio, Texas, at age six. He attended Karen Wagner High School, where he secured San Antonio High School Player of the Year honors as a senior. He played two seasons for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, earning Conference USA All-Freshman status. After transferring to the University of Missouri in 2012, he redshirted a season before being named to the 2014 All-SEC second team.

Professional Trajectory and Accolades

Following his selection by the Washington Wizards, he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2014. He quickly secured a spot on the NBA All-Rookie First Team. His professional journey included stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he appeared in the 2018 NBA Finals, and the Utah Jazz, where he captured the Sixth Man of the Year award. He achieved a championship victory with the New York Knicks in 2026.
