Isack Hadjar

Competitive kart racing became the primary focus for Isack Hadjar at age seven, following his introduction to motorsport through the animated film Cars. Born on 28 September 2004 in Paris to an Algerian family, he developed his skills through national and international karting circuits before transitioning into professional single-seater racing categories that serve as the traditional pipeline for elite competition.

Early Racing Development

Hadjar made his single-seater debut in 2019 within the French F4 Championship. Despite physical challenges regarding his stature at the start of the season, he secured a victory at Spa. In 2020, he expanded his experience by competing in the F4 UAE Championship and returning to French F4, where he finished third in the standings with three race wins and eight additional podium placements.

Progression Through Regional Formula

The 2021 season marked his entry into Formula Regional levels. During his Formula Regional European Championship campaign with R-ace GP, he achieved victories in Monaco and Monza, ultimately earning the title of best rookie. He further refined his performance in the 2022 Formula Regional Asian Championship with Hitech Grand Prix, securing a third-place finish in the overall standings.

Formula One Entry

Following a tenure in the Red Bull Junior Team that began in 2022, Hadjar secured a contract with Racing Bulls for 2025. His debut at the Australian Grand Prix was marked by a collision on the formation lap, though he subsequently earned points finishes and a maiden podium at the Dutch Grand Prix. By 2026, he moved to the senior Red Bull team to partner Max Verstappen.
