His directorships also extended to the Vidriera Group and the Cervecería Group, effectively centralizing industrial management within the region.

The various enterprises established under his guidance formed the backbone of Grupo Monterrey. This structure eventually split into two distinct consortiums: Grupo Industrial Alfa and Valores Industriales, commonly known as VISA. The management of these successors fell to members of his family, specifically his grandsons Bernardo Garza Sada, who led Grupo Industrial Alfa, and Eugenio Garza Lagüera, who headed Valores Industriales.
Life and Death
Throughout his career as an entrepreneur, Garza Garza remained based in Mexico. He witnessed the shift toward joint-stock capital and modern corporate organization throughout his professional lifespan.
