Hong Myung-bo (born 1969) is a South Korean association football player and coach. He was born in Seoul on 12 February 1969.
Hong competed in association football as a centre-back. His career took in Shonan Bellmare (1997–1998), 42 appearances, FC Pohang Steelers (1992–1997), 110 appearances and 14 goals, Kashiwa Reysol (1999–2001), 72 appearances and 7 goals, LA Galaxy (2003–2004), 38 appearances and Gimcheon Sangmu FC (in 1991). That career was played out in Major League Soccer.
Hong took part in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the 1994 FIFA World Cup, the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. He was educated at Seoul Kwangjang Elementary School, Kwanghee Middle School and Dongbuk High School.
