Hirving Lozano, a professional footballer born in Mexico City on 30 July 1995, launched his career at the youth academy of C.F. Pachuca in 2006. Since his 2014 debut, he has competed across top-tier leagues in the Netherlands and Italy, eventually securing a position as a left winger in Major League Soccer with LA Galaxy.
Early Development and Pachuca Tenure
Lozano began his professional trajectory with C.F. Pachuca, earning his first-team call-up under Gabriel Caballero. His debut on 8 February 2014 against Club América resulted in a goal just five minutes after entering the pitch. During his time in Mexico, he helped the club secure the 2016 Clausura title and the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League, where he was recognized as the competition's top scorer and Best Young Player. Over 152 appearances for Pachuca, he recorded 44 goals.

In June 2017, Lozano signed a six-year contract with Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, becoming the fifth Mexican player to join the team. His impact was immediate; he scored on his Eredivisie debut and became the first player to find the net in his first three matches for the club. He helped PSV secure the Eredivisie title in the 2017–18 season, finishing as the team's top league scorer. In 2019, he transferred to the Italian side Napoli for a reported €42 million, marking the highest transfer fee ever paid for a Mexican player. He concluded his tenure in Italy with a Serie A title before returning to PSV in 2023.
International Competition
Lozano has represented Mexico across various levels, including youth championships and senior tournaments. He played at the 2016 Summer Olympics and debuted for the senior national team in February 2016. His international participation includes the Copa América Centenario, the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, and multiple editions of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and Nations League. Furthermore, he participated in the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
