His use of the keytar allows for increased mobility during concerts, effectively mirroring the stage presence of guitarists. Throughout his career, he has utilized several Roland models, including the AX-1, the AX-7, and the violet-painted AX-Synth. He receives equipment endorsements from both Korg and Roland.
Solo Work and Performance Style
In February 2012, he released his debut solo album, ...And the Weird Turned Pro. The recording featured contributions from guitarist Elias Viljanen, bassist Pasi Kauppinen, and drummer Jari Huttunen. On stage, Klingenberg is known for high-energy performances. During the recording of the live DVD For the Sake of Revenge, he destroyed his Roland AX-7 against the stage floor, an act referencing the song The End of this Chapter. He is also noted by fans for wearing a traffic cone on his head, an image captured in the documentary Men of the North in the Land of the Rising Sun.
