Hattan Sultan Ahmed Bahebri, born 16 July 1992 in Jeddah, began his professional football career within the youth ranks of Al-Ittihad at age ten. A versatile winger and attacking midfielder, he has represented multiple Pro League clubs throughout his tenure in Saudi Arabian football, while simultaneously securing his place as a fixture for the national team on the global stage.
Early Career and Development
Bahebri progressed through the Al-Ittihad youth system, receiving his first senior call-up during the 2011 AFC Champions League quarter-final against FC Seoul. He made his official debut for the first team during the 2011–12 season against Al-Taawoun. Over four seasons with Al-Ittihad, he recorded 37 appearances and provided 4 assists. His time at the club concluded with a victory in the 2013 King Cup.

In 2014, Bahebri joined Al-Khaleej on a season-long loan, which was later extended for a second year. During this spell, he accumulated 46 appearances and scored 6 goals. In August 2016, he signed a three-year contract with Al-Shabab. Across his initial stint, which spanned two and a half seasons, he played 53 matches and scored 8 goals. He later returned to Al-Shabab on 31 August 2021.
National Team and Recent Transfers
Bahebri returned to the international stage for the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup, marking his first cap in nearly six years. He has since represented Saudi Arabia at the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups, as well as the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Domestically, he moved to Al-Hilal in 2019, winning the Saudi Professional League twice and the AFC Champions League twice. Following his second spell at Al-Shabab, he joined Al-Taawoun in 2024 and subsequently Al-Kholood in August 2025.
