Born in Naples in 1957, del Giudice completed a degree in medicine at the University of Naples Federico II in 1982. Del Giudice has published an extensive series of volumes primarily through the publisher Di Renzo Editore. These works include "The coincidence of opposites: Giordano Bruno between East and West" (2005) and "The god of geometricians – four dialogues" (2009). His bibliography includes the translation and critical edition of numerous texts, such as "Two Orations: Oratio valedictoria e Oratio consolatoria" (2006) and "Giordano Bruno. Latin epistles" (2017). His research interests often involve specific historical contexts, as seen in his 2010 work examining Bruno's presence in Switzerland among alchemists and Rosicrucians.

Awards and Scholarly Controversy

In 2008, the International Academy Partenopea Federico II presented del Giudice with the first International Giordano Bruno Award for his book "La disputa di Cambrai." The work also drew professional scrutiny; in a 2008 issue of the journal Bruniana & Campanelliana, Filippo Mignini suggested similarities between del Giudice’s translation and a 2006 doctoral thesis by Barbara Amato. Del Giudice issued a formal reply defending the originality of his translation and challenging Mignini's assertions regarding the attribution of the student’s work.

Institutional Involvement

Beyond his writing, del Giudice serves as a member of the scientific advisory board of the Nicolas Benzin Stiftung, based in Frankfurt am Main. He remains active in public discourse regarding the historical memory of Giordano Bruno, including efforts to secure a monument to the philosopher in his home city of Naples.
