He applies measure-theoretical analysis and weak convergence methods to solve complex questions in stochastic partial differential equations and statistical physics. Throughout his career, he has produced more than 200 original research papers and authored over 10 books. His work focuses on the theoretical analysis of gas dynamics and transonic flows, which led to his recognition with the 2024 Pólya Prize from the London Mathematical Society.
