This trajectory culminated in 1973 when he defeated Joe Frazier via a second-round knockout to claim the undisputed world heavyweight title. He defended the belt before losing to Muhammad Ali in 1974.

After a period of retirement following a 1977 loss to Jimmy Young, Foreman returned to the ring. In 1994, at age 45, he defeated Michael Moorer to win the unified WBA and IBF heavyweight titles. Beyond boxing, Foreman achieved significant financial success as an entrepreneur. He became widely known for the George Foreman Grill, which had sold more than 100 million units by 2011.
