Gao Ling

Chinese badminton player

Gao Ling is a Chinese badminton player, born in Wuhan in 1979.

Her honours include Badminton Hall of Fame, world champion, Olympic silver medal, Olympic bronze medal, Asian champion, Asian Games champion and Olympic gold medal. She competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics, the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2008 Summer Olympics. She also featured at the 2007 Badminton World Championships – mixed doubles, the 2007 Badminton World Championships – women's doubles and the 2006 Badminton World Championships – women's doubles.

Within badminton, Gao Ling is remembered for a record that stands up against anything her generation produced.
