Friedrich Paulus (1890–1957) was a German military officer and general field marshal. Paulus was born in Guxhagen on 23 September 1890. He died in Dresden on 1 February 1957, at the age of 67.

Paulus received Military Merit Cross III. Class, Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves (1943), Order of Michael the Brave, 1st class, Military Merit Order (Bavaria) and Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918. He was elected to National Committee for a Free Germany. He was educated at University of Marburg.
Paulus was the son of Ernst Paulus and Bertha Nettelbeck. He married Elena Rosetti-Solescu. He is recorded as following the Catholic Church. The recorded cause of death is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
