Sensi entered the management of the football club Roma alongside Pietro Mezzaroma in May 1993. By 8 November 1993, he ascended to the position of chairman. During his leadership, the club secured the scudetto during the 2000–01 season. Additional honours under his tenure included two Coppa Italia victories in 2006–07 and 2007–08, as well as two Supercoppa Italiana titles in 2001 and 2007. His daughter, Rosella, contributed to the administration by serving as the club's general manager.
Death and Legacy
Sensi died in Rome on 17 August 2008 at the age of 82. His remains were interred at the Campo Verano cemetery. His career spanned several sectors, from oil and industry to sports administration, concluding a life that remained centered in the Italian capital.
