Francisco Sagasti (born 1944) is the President of Peru from 2020 to 2021. Sagasti was born in Lima on 10 October 1944.
Sagasti served as member of the Congress of the Republic of Peru (2020–2021), President of Peru (2020–2021) and president of the Congress of the Republic of Peru (in 2020). He was attached to Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and Universidad del Pacifico.
Sagasti was awarded United Nations Medal and Governor General's Academic Medal (2012). He was elected to Instituto de Estudios Peruanos. He studied at National University of Engineering, Pennsylvania State University and University of Pennsylvania.
Sagasti was the son of Elsa Hochhäusler.
