Francisco de Paula Santander (1792–1840) was a Colombian military and political leader. Santander was born in Villa del Rosario on 2 April 1792. He died in Bogotá on 6 March 1840, at the age of 48.

Santander served as President of Colombia (1832–1837).

Santander studied at Saint Thomas Aquinas University and St. Bartholomew Major College.

Santander married Sixta Pontón de Santander. The recorded cause of death is gallstone disease.
