Early Career and Fiorentina
Born in Genoa in 1997, Chiesa developed within the Fiorentina youth academy after joining the club in 2007. Chiesa joined Juventus on a two-year loan in 2020. During his initial season, he contributed to victories in the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana. His performance in the 2021 Coppa Italia final proved decisive, as he scored the match-winning goal against Atalanta. Although an anterior cruciate ligament injury sidelined him for several months in 2022, he returned to record a personal best of nine Serie A goals during the 2023–24 season.
International Recognition
At the international level, Chiesa made his senior debut for Italy in March 2018. His contributions were vital to the team's success at UEFA Euro 2020, where he earned a place in the Team of the Tournament. For his achievements with the national squad in 2021, he received the Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and a medal for athletic prowess.
Transition to Liverpool
Following his transfer to Liverpool in August 2024, Chiesa made his debut against AC Milan. He scored his first goal for the club in an FA Cup match against Accrington Stanley in January 2025.
