Filipina pediatrician

Fe del Mundo (1911–2011) was a Filipino pediatrician and scientist. She was born on 27 November 1911. She died in Quezon City on 6 August 2011, at the age of 100.

Fe del Mundo received Ramon Magsaysay Award (1977) and Elizabeth Blackwell Award (1966). She was elected to The World Academy of Sciences. She studied at University of the Philippines Manila (Associate of Arts), Boston University School of Medicine (Master of Science) and Manila High School.

The recorded cause of death is myocardial infarction.
