Fanny Blankers-Koen was a Dutch track and field athlete, born in Baarn in 1918. She died in 2004.
Her honours include Associated Press Athlete of the Year, Silver Olympic Order and Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau. She competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics, the 1952 Summer Olympics and the 1936 Summer Olympics.
