Early Career and Danish Development
Born in Asafo, Kumasi, in 2003, Nuamah developed his skills at the Right to Dream Academy. In January 2022, he joined FC Nordsjælland. His debut on April 10, 2022, featured a goal against Aarhus GF, earning him man of the match honors. By the 2022-23 season, he secured the Danish Superliga Player of the Year award, following a notable brace against Brøndby in March 2023 and a hat-trick against Viborg in July 2023.

In August 2023, Nuamah moved to RWDM Brussels before transitioning to Lyon on loan. This arrangement, facilitated by John Textor’s Eagle Football Holdings, helped Lyon navigate spending restrictions imposed by the DNCG. The move set a record as Nordsjælland's highest-grossing sale. Lyon finalized the permanent transfer on July 7, 2024, for a reported €28.5 million. In late 2024, a planned €19 million transfer to Fulham failed after the player displayed reluctance to depart Lyon, prompting an apology from club ownership regarding the circumstances.
International Participation
Nuamah earned his first international goal for Ghana on September 7, 2023, scoring the winner against the Central African Republic. After being named to the provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, he subsequently joined the national team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. In 2026, he was selected as part of the Ghanaian delegation for the FIFA World Cup.
