Early Career and Collaboration
Born in 1986, Maya established his musical foundation at the George Enescu Music High School. By 2006, he began collaborating with Romanian artists such as Vika Jigulina and the group Akcent. During this formative period, he contributed to the production of "Tornerò," performed by Mihai Trăistariu for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, a project Maya later identified as the professional start of his career.

Following this initial momentum, Maya conducted worldwide concert tours and saw the track enter major music markets, including Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Production and Industry Expansion
To manage his output and support other artists, Maya founded Mayavin Records.
