The arrival of Dylan Thomas Sprouse in Arezzo, Italy, on August 4, 1992, occurred 15 minutes before his twin brother, Cole Sprouse. Named after the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, he spent his earliest months in Italy before his parents, Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright, moved the family to their hometown of Long Beach, California, when the twins were four months old.
Early Television Roles
Sprouse began his professional acting career in 1993, sharing the role of Patrick Kelly on the television series Grace Under Fire with his brother until 1998. The pair appeared in multiple films and television projects together during their childhood. In 2005, he gained recognition as Zack Martin on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, a role he continued until 2008 and reprised for the spin-off, The Suite Life on Deck, which concluded in 2011. Following his exit from Disney television, Sprouse enrolled at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. He graduated with a four-year degree focused on video game design. Beyond acting, he established several commercial enterprises. In 2018, he founded the All-Wise Meadery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, choosing the name as a reference to his personal practice of Heathenry, a religion he has identified with since age 15. He also serves as a brand ambassador and co-founder for Thor's Skyr, a high-protein dairy product.

Sprouse returned to prominent film roles in 2017, appearing in the thriller Dismissed as Lucas Ward, the short film Carte Blanche, and the comedy Banana Split as Nick. His subsequent credits include playing Paul in the short film Daddy in 2019 and Trevor in the 2020 film After We Collided. In 2021, he portrayed Luke Hart in Tyger Tyger and Calaf in the Chinese production The Curse of Turandot. He expanded his creative output to print in 2020 when Heavy Metal and DiGa Studios announced the first issue of his comic book series, Sun Eater.
Personal Life
Sprouse began a relationship with model Barbara Palvin in 2018. The couple lived in Brooklyn for over two years before relocating to Los Angeles in 2021. They were married on July 15, 2023. In May 2026, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child.
