Svensson has performed with several Swedish musical acts, including Sacrilege GBG, Diabolique, and In Flames. His involvement with Sacrilege GBG included roles as both a drummer and vocalist, a position he returned to in 2006. In 2021, he joined the supergroup The Halo Effect. Following his tenure with In Flames, which concluded after a European tour in November 2015, he continued his work in the music industry as a composer and producer.
