Development and Early Titles
Naroditsky learned to play at age 6 under the guidance of his father and older brother. He gained national attention as the youngest winner of the Northern California K–12 Chess Championship. In 2007, he won the Under-12 World Youth Chess Championship, securing a gold medal and the FIDE Master title. By age 14, he published Mastering Positional Chess, followed by Mastering Complex Endgames in 2012. He earned his International Master title in 2011 and secured his grandmaster designation in 2013.

Over his career, Naroditsky competed in five U.S. Chess Championships, notably defeating Fabiano Caruana in 2021. He received the Samford Chess Fellowship in 2014 and tied for first place in the 2019 U.S. Masters Championship. Internationally, he represented the United States in the 2015 World Team Championship. In late 2024, he tied for first place in the preliminary stage of the World Blitz Chess Championship with a performance rating of 2749.
