Following his success in Spain, Güiza joined Turkish club Fenerbahçe SK in 2008 for €14 million. His tenure in Istanbul included appearances in the UEFA Champions League and multiple Turkish Cup finals. Later, he pursued opportunities abroad, joining the Malaysia Super League side Johor Darul Ta'zim on loan in 2013 and subsequently moving to Paraguay to play for Cerro Porteño, where he helped the club secure their 30th Primera División title.
Return to Andalusia
In August 2015, Güiza returned to his home region to sign with Cádiz. Despite initial tension with fans due to historical remarks, he played a crucial role in the club's 2016 promotion to the second division. He later signed with Atlético Sanluqueño in July 2017.
