An Accidental Studio Debut
Born on October 6, 2002, in Chișinău, Moldova, Cleopatra Stratan began her career unexpectedly. While her father, Pavel Stratan, recorded in a studio, she joined him on the microphone. The resulting performance, featuring her on lead vocals, impressed those present and launched her recording career. Her work gained international recognition, leading to a suggestion that she be documented in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest talent to perform on stage and release a solo album.

Stratan released a series of albums following her debut. In 2008, she issued La vârsta de 5 ani, which featured the song Zunea-Zunea. The following year, she released Colinde magice, an album consisting of traditional Romanian Christmas carols known as colinde. By 2012, she released her fourth studio album, Melodii Pentru Copii. Beyond music, she provided the voice for the character Robotgirl in the Cartoon Network series Robotboy. Certain tracks from her earlier projects were translated into English and Spanish, and her early releases reached audiences as far as Japan.
Personal Life and Transitions
In December 2008, her brother Cezar was born. By late 2011, the family moved to Pipera, Romania. Following a hiatus from public performance announced by her father in December 2006, she continued to pursue music throughout her youth. On her 18th birthday, she announced her engagement to soloist Edward Sanda. She holds citizenship in both Moldova and Romania.
