Christian V of Denmark (1646–1699) was a king of Denmark and Norway. He was born in Flensburg on 15 April 1646. He died in Copenhagen on 25 August 1699, at the age of 53.

He had four recorded children, Frederik IV of Denmark, Prince Christian of Denmark, Princess Sophia Hedwig of Denmark and Prince Charles of Denmark. He is recorded as following Lutheranism. The recorded cause of death is hunting accident.
