Saget's professional trajectory in television began with a role on The Morning Program in 1987. That same year, he joined the cast of Full House, portraying Danny Tanner until 1995. Between 1989 and 1997, he served as the host of America's Funniest Home Videos. His voice acting credits included narrating the sitcom How I Met Your Mother from 2005 through 2014. He also held hosting positions on game shows such as 1 vs. 100 and Videos After Dark.
Directing and Other Ventures
Beyond acting, Saget directed the 1996 television film For Hope and the 1998 feature film Dirty Work. His writing credits included the 2014 book Dirty Daddy, which detailed his professional experiences.
