On 29 August 2024, El Khannouss transferred to Leicester City on a four-year deal for a £21m fee, donning the number 11 shirt. He debuted against Aston Villa shortly after and scored his inaugural goal for the Foxes on 3 December 2024 against West Ham United. He moved to VfB Stuttgart on loan on 1 September 2025, netting a goal against St. Pauli that same month. The arrangement became a permanent, long-term contract on 25 May 2026.
International Representation
Although he previously represented Belgium at various youth levels, El Khannouss opted to play for Morocco. He debuted for the senior team during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the third-place playoff against Croatia.
