Orchestral and Solo Performances
Malikian served as concertmaster for the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, the resident ensemble of the Madrid Royal Opera. His performance history includes playing under conductors such as Gómez Martínez and Jesús López-Cobos. Beyond his symphonic commitments, he focused on specialized solo recitals. The violinist has participated in diverse musical partnerships throughout his career. Since 1995, he performed alongside Armenian pianist Serouj Kradjian, with whom he recorded an anthology of works by Armenian composers titled Miniatures. His collaborative range extends to flamenco artists including Joaquín Cortés, Belén Maya, and José Luis Montón. He also engaged with jazz pianist Horacio Icasto and the Ensamble Nuevo Tango.

The discography of Malikian spans nearly 30 albums released over 25 years, utilizing various record labels including BMG, Auvidis, Trittico Classics, and Elite Music.
