Andrés Manuel López Obrador (born 1953) is a politician. President of Mexico from 2018 to 2024. López was born in Tepetitán on 13 November 1953.
López held office as Head of Mexico City government (2000–2005), President of the Democratic Revolution Party (1996–1999), President of National Regeneration Movement (2015–2017) and President of Mexico (2018–2024). He worked in politics, government and politician.
López received Ig Nobel Prize (2020), Order of the Aztec Eagle, Order of the Quetzal and Order of José Martí. He studied at National Autonomous University of Mexico (Bachelor of Political Science).
López married Rocío Beltrán Medina and Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller. He had three recorded children, José Ramón López Beltrán, Gonzalo Alfonso López Beltrán and Jesús Ernesto López Gutiérrez. He is recorded as following Christianity.
