Andrea Agnelli, a member of a prominent Italian industrial family, assumed the role of chairman of the Juventus football club in May 2010. Early Background and Education

Born in Turin in 1975, he is the son of Umberto Agnelli and Allegra Caracciolo di Castagneto. His familial ties connect him to the Agnelli dynasty, which has held long-standing interests in the automotive industry and Italian enterprise. He completed his secondary education at St Clare's, Oxford, where he pursued the International Baccalaureate, before attending Bocconi University in Milan.

Professional Development

His early business career involved international roles in marketing, development, and external institutional communication. He worked for companies including Iveco, Auchan Hypermarché, Piaggio, and Ferrari Idea S.A. Between 2001 and 2004, he held positions at Philip Morris International in Lausanne. In 2007, he established his own financial holding firm, Lamse, and in 2008, he became the managing director of the Royal Park Golf & Country Club I Roveri.

Corporate and Sporting Governance

Agnelli served on the boards of Fiat S.p.A. and later Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. In 2021, he joined the board of the newly formed Stellantis. Within the sporting sector, he held positions on the UEFA Executive Committee and served as chairman of the European Club Association from 2017 until 2021. He eventually resigned these corporate and association roles by 2023.

Juventus Presidency

Upon his appointment in 2010, Agnelli oversaw the transition to the new Juventus Stadium and focused on financial stabilization. Under his leadership, the club secured multiple domestic trophies, including consecutive Serie A championships and Coppa Italia titles, and reached two UEFA Champions League finals. He resigned his position as chairman in November 2022 amid the Plusvalenze investigation.
