In 1993, he was a recipient of the Alon Fellowship. In 1999, he moved to the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he currently serves as a professor of mathematics.

His 1992 publication, An explicit construction of the Grothendieck residue complex, published in Asterisque, detailed foundational work on residue theory.
