Early Career in Milan
Duncan began training with Inter Milan during the summer of 2010. Formal entry into the organization occurred in March 2011, once he reached his 18th birthday, adhering to FIFA regulations. He resided at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti while progressing through the youth ranks. His debut in Serie A followed in August 2012.

In July 2014, he transferred to Sampdoria on a two-year loan, which transitioned to a permanent arrangement in January 2015 for approximately €3 million. By July 2015, Sassuolo acquired him on a temporary basis with a mandatory buyout clause valued at €6 million. During his time at Sassuolo, he recorded a goal against AC Milan in a 2–0 victory on 6 March 2016.
Fiorentina and Subsequent Moves
Duncan moved to Fiorentina in January 2020 through an agreement featuring an obligation to purchase. His professional journey continued with a temporary transfer to Cagliari in January 2021, lasting until June of that year. Following his departure from Fiorentina, he signed with the newly-promoted Venezia club in 2024.
National and Youth Honours
At the youth international level, he competed in four matches during the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Turkey, earning a bronze medal. His full international debut occurred on 14 November 2012 against Cape Verde. His club honours include winning the Campionato Nazionale Primavera and the NextGen series with Inter Primavera during the 2011–12 season, alongside a victory in the Serie B play-offs with Livorno.
