It was won by Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, a dog act, with the magician Anna DeGuzman as runner-up — a final decided between a trained animal routine and close-up sleight of hand, which is a fair description of how wide the format's definition of talent has become. Mikheeva's qualifier came one week before that final.
