Nila Ibrahimi

Nila Ibrahimi is a singer from Afghanistan (born 2007). In March 2021, after Afghanistan's Ministry of Education banned girls over the age of 12 from singing publicly, she published a video of herself singing that gained viral attention. On November 19, 2024, at age 17, she won the International Children's Peace Prize. Nila was 17 when it happened.
