The record, precisely stated
Guinness World Records keeps this category split by sex, and the title Jain holds is the youngest person to publish a book, male. The measurement is exact because it has to be: three years and 345 days, with the date of birth given as 23 April 2022 and the record verified on 3 April 2026 in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.
That precision is the point of the category. Where a claim is measured in days, the registering body is committing to a documented birth date and a documented publication date, and the arithmetic between them is checkable by anyone. It is a considerably stronger form of claim than the many youngest-author descriptions that rest on a newspaper's phrasing.
A book about lunchtime
Guinness records that the book was inspired by lunchtime at his preschool. That single sentence is the whole published account of its subject in the source used here.
It is, in its way, the most credible detail available. A book by a three-year-old that drew on something other than the immediate world of a three-year-old would raise obvious questions about authorship. Lunch at nursery is exactly the material a child of that age has, and the record category is about the age of the author rather than the ambition of the text.
Taking the title from Saeed Rashed AlMheiri
The title had previously been held by Saeed Rashed AlMheiri. Records of this kind are not permanent by design; they are a running measurement of the current floor, and each holder holds it until someone younger is verified.
The floor has been falling for a structural reason. Publishing a book used to require a publisher's commitment, which set a practical minimum age by the standards of commercial judgement. Short-run and self-publishing removed that filter, so the limiting factor became the child's capacity to produce a text at all, and record-keeping bodies have been documenting the consequences ever since.
What this record does not establish
A verified Guinness record states that a named person of a documented age published a book. It does not state how the book was made, how much of it the child wrote unaided, who transcribed or illustrated it, or what its literary quality is.
Those questions are unanswerable from the source used here, and they should not be answered by inference. This record is thin by design: one registering body, one verification, one date. No second news source for the record appears in the material used for this page, which is worth flagging for anyone relying on it.

Пройти тест IQ →Where Advay Jain is now
As of this record he is the current Guinness record holder for the youngest person to publish a book, male, a title verified in April 2026. He is a small child in New Jersey, and nothing else about him belongs on a public page.
This is a deliberate limit rather than a gap in research. The public facts are a record, a date, a location at verification and a book. His family, his nursery, his daily life and his whereabouts are not matters for publication, and the sources used here do not provide them either.
