Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah was born on July 16, 2022, in Accra, the capital of Ghana. His mother, Chantelle Kuukua Eghan, is a professional visual artist who ran a small studio and gallery. When Ace-Liam was six months old and still crawling, she placed a blank canvas on the floor and let him move across it with paint, mostly to keep him occupied while she worked. The result, a swirl of colour smeared by tiny hands and knees, became his first artwork. She named it 'The Crawl.'

The recognition did not stop at a certificate. Ace-Liam was later featured in the Guinness World Records 2026 book as a Young Achiever, described as the youngest achiever in the organisation's seventy-year history, listed alongside global icons such as Usain Bolt, Simone Biles and Dolly Parton. On his second birthday, his family launched an outreach initiative aimed at nurturing artistic talent in other Ghanaian children, turning a viral record into something with a longer purpose.
