How Is IQ Measured? History of IQ Tests Explained

The concept of measuring intelligence has a surprisingly short history. The first practical intelligence test was developed in 1905, less than 120 years ago. Since then, IQ testing has evolved dramatically — from simple age-based assessments to sophisticated multi-factor batteries administered by trained psychologists.
