The second $50,000 award went to Ari Misha Dyckovsky, 18, of Sterling, Virginia, for 'Analysis of Photon-Mediated Entanglement between Distinguishable Matter Qubits'. Schiefer's search engine therefore sat alongside a medical diagnostic and a quantum physics project at the top of the standings.
