Spouse of the Prime Minister of Malaysia (1981–2003, 2018–2020)

Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali (born 1926) is the Spouse of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Mohamad was born in Klang on 12 July 1926.

Mohamad competed in badminton. She had begun working by 1955.

Mohamad received Grand Commander of the Order of Loyalty to the Crown of Malaysia (2003) and Asia's Most Influential Malaysia (2021). She studied at Universiti Malaya, University of Michigan and National University of Singapore.

Mohamad was the daughter of Mohd Ali bin Mohd Taib. She married Mahathir Mohamad. She had four recorded children, Marina Mahathir, Mokhzani Mahathir, Mukhriz Mahathir and Mirzan Mahathir. She is recorded as following Islam.
