Bills Micro Credit emerged in 2009 under the leadership of Richard Nii Armah Quaye, marking the start of a career defined by rapid investment and corporate restructuring within the Ghanaian market. Based in Jamestown, he eventually expanded his commercial influence to include the founding of Quick Angels Limited, an entity specifically designed to provide essential capital to early-stage domestic startups.
Professional Evolution
Quaye received his education at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, and later completed studies through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. His career trajectory transitioned from traditional business operations to specialized investment services. By 8 May 2019, he established Quick Angels Limited, which prioritized the funding of local enterprises. The portfolio of supported companies includes Doughman Foods, Pizzaman Chickenman, Ridge Medical Center, Zaconut, and Burger King, as well as manufacturers of Sankofa Natural Spices and Benjie and Duke rice. In April 2025, he moved into his current capacity as President of RNAQ Holdings, the parent company overseeing both Quick Angels Limited and Bills Micro Credit, having vacated his previous roles as CEO and board chairman at those specific subsidiaries.

The business sector acknowledged his investment strategies through several accolades between 2019 and 2021. He secured the Investment Award category at the 40 under 40 awards in October 2019, followed by an overall win at the same ceremony held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra in September 2020. During 2020, he also received the European CEO Entrepreneur of the year award. Subsequent recognitions include the 2021 Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards, where he was named Outstanding financial service entrepreneur and Outstanding CEO. Later that year, the Ghana Business Standards Awards recognized him as an Outstanding Business Investor and Outstanding Business Leader.
Public Engagement and Philanthropy
Quaye has participated in international and domestic business forums, including the 3rd edition of the Entrepreneurs Forum hosted by the Ghana Investment Promotion Council in August 2019. In December of that year, he addressed the 5th annual conference of the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition club at Harvard Business School. Beyond commerce, he established the RNAQ Foundation. In 2025, the foundation announced the launch of a Food Bank Project aimed at providing daily hot meals to underserved populations. Furthermore, in August 2025, the foundation allocated GH₵500,000 toward a research study regarding the prevalence of youth opioid abuse within Ghana.
