Notable examples include the National Museum of Roman Art in Mérida, the Kursaal convention centre in San Sebastián, and L'Auditori. He expanded his reach into the United States with the Davis Art Museum at Wellesley College, the Audrey Jones Beck Building at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Northwest Corner Building at Columbia University. His later work includes the Princeton Neuroscience Institute and the Peretsman-Scully Hall, both completed in 2013.
