Marriage and Family Life
In 1999, Alexia married architect and yachtsman Carlos Javier Morales Quintana at St. Sophia Cathedral in London. Their wedding followed a yachting accident in May 1999 that resulted in injuries for both, though they recovered in time for the ceremony. The couple moved to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, residing in a home designed by her husband. They have four children: Arrietta, Ana Maria, Carlos, and Amelia.
