Philipp Kirkorov launched his performing career in 1985 on the musical television program Wider Circle. Born in Varna in 1967, the multi-faceted artist established himself as a prominent singer, composer, and actor within the Russian entertainment industry. Musical Education and Early Development
After graduating from Moscow School No. 413, Kirkorov enrolled in the Gnessin State Musical College in 1984. He completed his studies in the musical comedy department in 1988 with honors. His stage presence developed early, as he accompanied his father, Bedros Kirkorov, on tours during childhood and appeared at the Petrozavodsk Theater at age five.

Following his debut on Wider Circle, Kirkorov worked with the Leningrad Music Hall and performed at the Friedrichstadt-Palast Theater in Berlin. By the 1990s, his reach expanded through tours in the United States, Canada, and Israel. He represented Russia at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin with the song Kolybelnaya dlya vulkana. His discography includes the 1995 release Skazhi Solntsu: Da and the 1998 album Oh, Mama, I'll give Chic.
Television and Production Work
Kirkorov transitioned into production and television judging in the 2000s. He co-composed entries for the Eurovision Song Contest for Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova. His television career includes hosting roles on STS and judging positions on programs such as Star Factory and the Russian adaptation of The Mask. In 2021, he received a TEFI award for his work as a show host. He also appeared in the 2023 reality show Emperor's Treasures.
