Rudd secured his first recurring television role in 1992 on the drama Sisters. His transition to film gained momentum with the 1995 comedy Clueless, followed by appearances in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and Romeo + Juliet. His television work expanded significantly during the early 2000s, most notably through his role as Mike Hannigan in the sitcom Friends and guest appearances on Saturday Night Live.
Collaborative Comedy and Producing
Starting in 2004, Rudd collaborated frequently with Judd Apatow, appearing in projects such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Knocked Up.
