Early Life and Training
Born on 2 March 1829 in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Landé was the son of a local merchant, Löbel Landé. His initial education occurred at home under a private tutor. Following this period, he pursued formal training in Breslau, where he qualified as a master mason. His professional trajectory eventually shifted toward architecture, supported by the influence of his uncle, Jacob Landé.

Landé designed and supervised the construction of the synagogue in Ostrów Wielkopolski during the late 1850s. By 1864, he relocated to Berlin, where his professional activity shifted toward private residential architecture. He oversaw the design and construction of a house specifically for his own family while established in the city.
Family and Final Years
In 1857, Landé married Sophie Block, who lived from 1 September 1835 until 23 June 1913. The couple had five children, including Thekla Landé, born in 1864 and deceased in 1932. Toward the end of his life, Landé resided at Wilhelmstrasse 143 in Berlin. He died on 23 June 1888 and was interred at the Weißensee Jewish cemetery alongside his wife.
