Malaysian footballer (1953-1991)

Mokhtar Dahari (1953–1991) was a Malaysian footballer. Dahari was born in Selangor on 13 November 1953. He died in Kuala Lumpur on 11 July 1991, at the age of 38.

Dahari competed in association football as a forward. He turned out for Selangor F.C. (1972–1987), 375 appearances and 177 goals, Selangor F.C. (1988–1990), 13 appearances and 20 goals and the Malaysia men's national football team (1972–1985), 167 appearances and 125 goals. He had begun working by 1972.

Dahari is recorded as following Islam. The recorded cause of death is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Selangor F.C. was founded in 1936 in Shah Alam.
