Early Development and Karting
Raised near Glastonbury, Norris transitioned from youth interest in motocross to competitive karting at age eight. His training took place at the Clay Pigeon Raceway. By 2013, he claimed the CIK-FIA European Championship and the CIK-FIA International Super Cup. In 2014, he achieved the CIK-FIA World Championship in the KF class, becoming the youngest titleholder in that specific category at the time.

Following a successful karting career, Norris debuted in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2014, finishing third. His transition to single-seaters included winning the 2015 MSA Formula Championship with Carlin. In 2016, his performance in the Toyota Racing Series, Formula Renault Eurocup, and Formula Renault NEC earned him the Autosport BRDC Award. He further secured the FIA Formula 3 European Championship title in 2017 before finishing runner-up in the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Formula One Milestones
He achieved his first podium and fastest lap in 2020 at the Austrian Grand Prix, followed by a maiden pole position in Russia the next year. After winning his first race in Miami in 2024, he secured seven victories during the 2025 season. This success included winning his home British Grand Prix and clinching his first world title against Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri.

By the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix, his record included 19 pole positions and 49 total podiums.
