Jens Petter Hauge

Norwegian footballer (born 1999)

A hat-trick in his senior debut for FK Bodø/Glimt against IF Fløya on 13 April 2016 signaled the arrival of Jens Petter Hauge. Born in 1999 in Bodø, Norway, he emerged from the club's youth academy to become a prominent left winger, ultimately securing his place in the national squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Early Professional Development

Hauge signed his first professional contract with Bodø/Glimt on 12 April 2016. Following his impactful debut, he played 20 league matches during the 2016 season, netting his first top-flight goal against IK Start on 8 July. After the team suffered relegation, he became a regular starter in the second tier before a brief loan stint with Aalesunds FK in 2018. He returned to the Bodø/Glimt starting lineup in 2019, scoring seven league goals.

International Club Career

The 2020 season elevated Hauge's profile as he scored six goals in ten matches before attracting attention from AC Milan. He joined the Italian club in October 2020 on a five-year deal, scoring his first Serie A goal against Napoli on 22 November. In 2021, he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, later signing a permanent deal until 2026. A subsequent loan to Gent preceded his eventual permanent return to Bodø/Glimt in 2025.

Resurgence and International Duty

Back at Bodø/Glimt, Hauge reached new heights in European competition. He netted a brace against Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League on 30 September 2025 and contributed to a victory over Inter Milan in the 2025–26 knockout stage. His international progression moved from the under-21 team, where he debuted in 2019, to his senior Norway debut on 11 October 2020. Ståle Solbakken named him in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
