The career of Israeli actor Inbar Lavi began in 2004 when, at age 17, she relocated to New York City to pursue off-Broadway stage work. Early Development and Relocation
Born in Ramat Gan on October 27, 1986, to a Jewish family with Moroccan, Polish, and Bosnian heritage, Lavi spent much of her childhood in Holon. Health issues involving asthma led her to watch cinema extensively during treatment, fostering an early interest in the field. Her initial training involved ballet and modern dance at Kiryat Sharet high school, followed by formal acting studies at the Sophie Moskowitz School of Acting in Tel Aviv. By 2004, she moved to Los Angeles on a full scholarship to continue her education.

Lavi debuted in English-language theater in 2006, playing Cordelia in King Lear. By 2009, she began securing guest roles in prominent series such as Entourage, Criminal Minds, and CSI: Miami. Her early film credits include Tales of an Ancient Empire in 2010 and Street Kings 2: Motor City in 2011. She gained wider recognition playing the pregnant singer Raviva in the 2012 MTV series Underemployed and later appeared as Winsome in the seventh season of Sons of Anarchy.
Professional Breakthroughs
The actor achieved significant visibility through recurring and lead roles in several major series. In 2015, she played a soldier in the second season of The Last Ship, followed by the role of Yemeni activist Sheba in the 2016 revival of Prison Break. She starred as a con artist in the Bravo series Imposters between 2017 and 2018. Her later work includes playing Eve in the final three seasons of Lucifer and joining the Israeli series Fauda as Shani Russo in 2023.
